SlipFeed Flowrapper Retrofit

You can take a perfectly good and properly working vibratory hopper, multi-head weigher, vertical bagger, check-weigher, vision/inspection system, multi-head robot, flowrapper, cartoner/erector, or any multitude of different equipment and push them all together so that one flows into the other. The equipment suppliers may know their own equipment backwards but they often don't sufficiently appreciate the bigger picture. But get the underlying concepts wrong or fail to appreciate the importance of proper synchronisation, or even simply mess up some hand-shaking - and the result is bad products, empty bags, continual stoppages, poor efficiency, frustrated staff and reject bins full of good product. Doing it properly isn't always difficult or expensive - its recognising and deciding what really needs doing that can be difficult - so call midasmotion and ask the experts.

Of course it's best to involve us before installing anything, but we know from experience it doesn't always work out that way! So when everyone's apparently done their bit and things still aren't running as smoothly as you expected - call us, if nothing else at least you'll get an independent second opinion.

midasmotion can supply and integrate multi-head weighers, vertical baggers, seal testers, check weighers, inspection systems, robot loading cells, carton loaders, cartoners, carton erectors together with flow wrapper or flowwrapper, ffs, horizontal ffs, form-fill-seal packing machines. Bakery products such as bread rolls, panini, tray bake (cakes in trays) and other products that are normally difficult to load into packaging machinery can be automatically handled. There are several approaches that can be used to reduce handling labour, but for the most complex, a delta robot is best. The robot operates in conjunction with a vision system and picks and orientates the individual products. The robot collates the individual bags into groups and deposits them into a carton or places them into the moving infeed of a flow-wrapper. The cartoner closes and seals the cartons when full while the flowrapper produces multi-pack products which then flow through a final check-weigher and another carton erector and carton sealer and closer.
